GOOD NEWS, GOOD NEWS, FANTASTIC NEWS!!!
SOMEONE FROM MY PARISH DONATED THIS IKON TO OUR PARISH!!!
I was telling our Deacon about the ikon and our priest overheard. He wanted to see some pics so I called a friend who got the ikon sent down to us "on approval".
Well, I got it on a Friday and took it to Church in the snow that Sunday. This one family was VERY interested in it and un-wrapped it. Father was excited and the family looked at him and said if he wants it, they'll donate it. If he doesn't want it, they'll buy it for themselves!
I'M SO EXCITED!!!! I can't wait to see it hung up! I promise to take pics when it's in our Church.
