Glory to Jesus Christ!

Thank you for supporting our great shepard, His Grace, Bishop John! You told me once that many try to silence the voice of the prophet. Yet, it seems to always come from within our ranks!

As you know, our wonderful God's healing promises are quoted throughout the Old and New Testaments. Just as one example, one can hardly interpret Sirah, chapter 38 any other way.

Father Sid Sidor [(317)632-4157] at St. Athanasius in Indianapolis has read the ancient Paraklesis

petitioning for healing of physical, mental and spiritual ailments regularly since Fall 2004. Here, there have been many documented healings. The healing have not been just limited to Eastern Christians. Further, nothing has ever been charged!

Our God does not want us to suffer in any way. God has told us what we must do to be healed and prosperous. In fact, this should be a forum on this website!

All the best,

Scott

Fr. Deacon,

It is not wrong for the bishop to judge what is best for his flock.

I have heard many stories from people who at one time in their lives were in involved in the Protestant influenced charasmatic movement. To me, what went on did not sound like the working of the Holy Spirit. The Healing services I feel comfortable with are the Eucharist, Holy Unction, Paraklesis and Artoklasia.

Matins, Liturgy, Reconciliation and Anointing were all held. Is it wrong to include a healing service if in the judgment of the bishop this man has an authentic charism?

Fr. Deacon Lance
Fr. Deacon, to which bishop's judgment are you referring? The Dr.'s own Latin bishop or the Byzantine Ruthenian bishop or the Episcopal bishop in whose parishes he has also held these events? (One of these parishes being St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Bay Village, Ohio.)
