dear brothers and sisters,

as Christians we will be starting our preparation for the greatest feast of all time. i would like to verify dates of Pascha in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars because from what i have gathered this year both calendars will be celebrating the Holy day at the same date - april 11, 2004.

You are correct; both Easter and Pascha will coincide this year - on 11 April (civil calendar). Are any particular foods associated with the paschal celebrations in the Philippines?

dear incognitus,

you know, i'm sure of that but from what i learned in the Orthodox parish that i once in a while attend is they follow the greek food prescription. and i think??? that it was not adopted to filipino standards and somehow i feel that they are making greeks out of filipino not jus tin this topic but this has to be looked upon because im looking it from my point of view.
