<<An excellent abbreviate Horologion for the Laity was written by Archmandrite Cherubim of Mount Athos and is available in English through a Convent of the OCA from New York-->>

Forgive me if I plug a the production of a friend and me.

A much better one, based on the 1793 MOLITVOSLOV printed by the Pochaev Monastery, OSBM, is avaialble from Light and Life.

THE HOURS OF PRAYER: a book of devotion.

There are perforce abbreviations in Matins. The rest of the offices are given in the form that tehey would have when celebrated by individuals or groups with a priest not available.

It's about $12 or so, Smythe sewn signatures.

Bless, Reverend Father,

This is a "must have."

Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.

I don't want to say too much more about this, since I don't want others thinking I am just "collecting" horologia like I collect Icons [Linked Image]

I am beginning to feel like a heretic or something.

Alex
