hello Family.
im looking for any info online or from you all about St Seraphim of Sarov anything you can tell me about him would be great! i mostly intrested in his life and his practice of the Jesus Prayer and any web sites you know of about him,, GOD BLESS

His "On the Acquisition of the Holy Spirit" and "Spiritual Counsels" are both out of this world (little pun there) smile

His life was a big part of my own discovery of the riches of the Jesus Prayer and Russian hesychasm.

It is the opinion of some that Dostoyevsky borrowed from the life of St. Seraphim in his character the Elder Zossima from the Brothers Karamazov.

thanks so much for the sites! keep sending them if possable! hes becoming my favorite saint!!!! =) im currious are most Byzantine Saints pictured with there Prayer rope or is it just him because he had a devotion to it? i noticed in all his icons he is shown with it in his hand?
