You are totaly correct in the spelling and thank you for calling it to my attention. I went into my Favorites list extending back a few years and I have been spelling it that way for years. I can't tell you why. I supposed over time I became accustomed to typing it that way and never noticed. Strange since I spend a lot of time on discalced sites. See I CAN learn. I can't promise it won't happen again but I'll try. God bless you. Pray without ceasing...Mike

Greetings in Carmel, I am of course in!!! I was going to suggest the switch to the "Faith and Worship" forum. It seem more appropriate. Our own forum would be the perfect answer. How expensive would that be? Would that prevent some souls from becoming members?
I also like ICC or ICCBF.
For the ID code, could members could use their own icon with ICCBF followed by numbers starting with "1" and ascending as more souls sign up? Pray without ceasing...Mike

Dear Alex, I can only repeat what a short lived pope said. "God forgive you for what you have done."
I hope you have prayed about this? I am probably the least qualified of all the members of the Byzantine Forum. If you can find no one better and no one has any other preference...I will. Pray without ceasing...Mike ICCBF

Hello all, I'm back. I just attempted to change to the forum "Faith and Worship" and found:
[QUOTE ONLY ADMINISTRATORS OR MODERATORS MY PERFORM THIS ACTION [/QUOTE]
So, I assume we will all find out together. By the wat May 25 is the Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalene de Pazzi. She is often referred to as the St. Teresa of the Ancient Observance. Unfortunately, her superiors did not order her to write down all of her experiences and only a few of her words are recorded for posterity. FYI: The day before a Carmelite saint's feastday is usually a day of fast and abstinance in the Carmelite Order in the RC. Also:
March 19 St Joseph Spouse of the Theotokos May 16 St. Simon Stock May 25 Mary Magdalene de Pazzi June 14 St Elisha July 16 Solemnity Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
July 20 St. Elija August 26 St. Teresa of Avila Oct 15 St Teresa of the Child Jesus Nov 14 All Carmelite Saints Dec 14 St. John of the Cross

Dear Michael, (It isn't appropriate to use the short form for our Archimandrite!),
Perhaps the Moderator here would agree to move this thread to the Faith and Worship.
In any event, we could start a Carmelite Thread there and stick with it for a while as we map out areas for discussion and comment.
If you agree . . .
Also, could you start that thread and begin with a prayer to Our Lady of Mt Carmel for all of us on this Internet Carmel - just say what is in your heart right now and we'll pray along with you!
Alex
