The Vatican support of an abortion promoting UN is puzzling.

The Vatican very definitely, and very vocally, does not support the UN in that area.

The U.N. should keep their noses out of the business of defining motherhood. They should stick to what they do "best" (and this is not saying much) and that is humanitarian aid around the world.

The only thing I can think of is take US funds and stab us in the back every chance it gets. They only let us stay because of our money

You got it, Lady! I don't see how we would be any worse off if that whole organization folded. One of my right-wing, conspiracy theorist friends thinks the UN will take over the world. I tell him that the UN is far too incompetent to pull that off, and that it couldn't run it if it did take over.
