Loretta,
In the Eastern Christian Churches, (both Orthodox and Uniate) that use the Julian Calendar, The Holy Feast Day of St. Michael the Archangel is celebrated on November 21st. Those in the Uniate Churches that changed to the Roman Catholic Gregorian Calendar, the feast is celebrated on November 8, 13 days earlier as the Julian Calendar is 13 days behind the Roman Catholic Gregorian Calendar.

Dear Loretta,
Yes, and the feast day of November 8 (Nov.21st on Julian Calendar) was deliberately chosen by the Church to reflect the theology of the Angels.
November is the "Ninth Month" of the old Roman calculation, as the New Year formerly began in March. The "9" represents the 9 choirs of Angels.
The number "8" represents the day of the Final Judgement when the Angles will herald the Second Coming of Christ.
The West celebrates "Michaelmass" on September 29, again a play on the number "9" and on "2" for the two Natures of Christ.
