Does anyone know of any in South Florida that have not been Latinized?

Thank you.

Rather depends on what you mean by "Latinized", doesn't it. Would you like to be a little more specific about what you are looking for?

Try St. Basil the Great in Miami [byzantines.net] it is small and cozy, the people are nice and sing well and the pastor is a fine man.

It is just down I-95 right over the Dade county line. I lived in Miami for some years and belonged to that parish there are many good and God-loving people there. If you do go please share your impressions with me privately. It is a true community there, please try it.

Lemko,

If you, or anyone else, will provide me with criteria (which this board accepts) with which to make that judgement I will attempt to do so. Otherwise, I know better.

I made the recommendation to visit the parish without any judgement of latinization. I recognize "Peace be with you" did not ask for that recommendation but whether any parish was not latinised, then again he asks for "traditional" in the topic, for many of "our people" traditional = latinised. I am not getting getting into this one any further.

PaxTecvm,
The other Byzantine church in your area is Our Lady of the Sign (my parish smile ) which is located in Coconut Creek on Lyons Road (31th Street) about two blocks north of Hillsboro Boulevard. It's a small mission church, about 100 people. We would love to have you join us for Sunday Liturgy (10:00 a.m.).

Hope to see you soon!

Dear His Daughter,

Curious your use of the word mission. Your parish used to be a mission of Miami then later it had it's own priest, the last I heard it was Fr. Michael Kane. Is he not there any more?

Or do you mean architecturally "mission"?

Sorry Tony,

Yes, Father Mike is still our priest - and doing a great job I'd like to add biggrin !

Please excuse the misuse of "mission".
