Dear Friends,

Can anyone recommend a good website (that ships to Canada) where I can purchase traditional icons on-line.

Thanks

Brad.

Dear Brad,

Why not try www.agapeicons.com [agapeicons.com] .
They have traditional icons directly from Greece.

Thanks for posting Marian's site. Offhand I could not remember the address. The icons painted on glass in Roumania are very, very special.

Icons written by Fr. Thomas J. Loya, moderator of our "Evangelization" forum and pastor of Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Parish in Homer Glen, Illinois, can be purchased here...

Alice,

I think something like having a webstore here is kind of a thought that if someone wants to do it, they just do it. I don't think we realize here state side what a 'miracle' it is that Marian is able to have a webstore. The economy there really doesn't provide the income for something like that to occur. God really did some work for him to be able to have it.

Also, the income of the average person in Romania (and I am not speaking of Marian because I don't know his situation) but I have heard they make less or about the amount in a months time than someone working at minimum wage here makes in a week. That is kind of hard for me to fathom.

I pray that God will bless him with many, many blessings and with lots of sales as he endeavors to provide for and take care of his mom.
