I was wondering if Father Gregory or other priests perhaps could lead a discussion on the encyclicals of John Paul II on this forum. Maybe we could discuss one per week. I think this would be a nice way to honor such a wise & holy man!

That sounds interesting. I have heard so much about his Theology of the Body, that may be a good place to start.

Now I am not sure if this is an Encyclical, but his Mea Culpa announcment were he apologized for all of the Churches wrongs -

The Crusades, Antisemitism, The Persecution of Galieo, and other things

That really showed how humble the Pope was and how much of a caring person he was.

I think he will eventually become a Saint.

He was a peacemaker among the peoples of the whole world.
