Hello all,

Please forgive the ignorance of a young Catholic (only a year or so now), but does anyone know of any online links to Christmass liturgy? Ancient liturgy is preferred, but i gladly welcome any links to Christmass liturgy. This was my first Christmass as an ex-Protestant, and i am eager to read more about various liturgies.

Peace to you and thanks in advance,
the_grip

Christ is Born! Welcome and so glad you enjoyed your first Christmas wtih us. Are you looking for the actual liturgy or to read more about the liturgy (origin, changes, etc.) Don't know specifically about Christmas liturgy, but here are some links for the "regular" liturgy that should keep you busy for a while!

Grip,

Mrs. H has given you a good selection already. Like hers, mine aren't specific to Christmas Liturgy, but just about a year ago I posted a long list of links to a whole variety of Eastern and Oriental Orthodox and Catholic Liturgies - some include photo sequences, as well as text.

See my post at the top of the following page -
Liturgy Links in Thread "I\'m New"

As far as Christmas liturgical services...

I'd say start with these December links from Anastasis:

http://www.anastasis.org.uk/dec-int.htm

There are several links in some of the later entries which detail Vespers & Matins for services in Christmas week.

Also, this PDF file from the Greek Archdiocese contains Matins for Christmas:
