Slava Isusu Khrystu!
Of course, the possibilities are endless when it comes to vestments, although there are many sources that are not well-known.
Istok Enterprises, out of Moscow offers a wide variety of items. Their prices are fairly reasonable although they used to be even more so. Their website is located at:
www.istok.net [
istok.net]
While they feature the Russian style of vestments, they will also make the Greek style if you ask them. This applies primarily to the priests' vestments. The people at Istok are good to work with and will create almost anything you would like if you work with them on it, through e-mail correspondence.
One drawback can be the shipping, which is sometimes a bit costly, but it all depends. They offer two methods: air and land (or maybe boat), but I have never wanted to wait and try the land method. Sometimes, they can do a "rush" job and get an item out very quickly. The catalogue is extensive. Some items are below what one would expect to pay. Have fun browsing.
When possible, I do like to patronize our own Sisters in Uniontown. Another good resource is the Byzantine Seminary Press in Pittsburgh. They have a page on this website. I've received vestments from them as well, and they are good quality, as are the Basilian "ryzi." Almost all of our parishes have the Uniontown vestments. The "Sluzhebnytsi" or "Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate" in Canada also make vestments. You can contact them at

One may also try Holoviak's Church Supply in Berwick PA, near Hazelton.
That's it for now. God bless everyone.
