i have a question...on the calender it lists tomorrow as the day of rememberance of the fathers of the six ecumenical councils, how come it doesnt include the 7th? i believe the 7th ecumenical council adressed the use of sacred icons. is this simply because the feast was declared before the 7th ecumenical council of Nicaea II existed?

Glory to Jesus Christ!

The Fathers of the 7th Ecumenical Council are commemorated on October 12, 2003 (Sunday) this year...this commemoration is always held in October. The Fathers of the First Council is always celebrated on the Sunday After Ascension each year.

Hope this helps.
