OK, Entomos. The most critical thing is one's salvation. Whereever this can be achieved is certainly the most auspicious for salvation. One should not be stultified or forced to be "orthodox" for the sake of salvation when it is clearly not where one's soul needs to be.

God is waaaaaaay bigger than any church. Be true to the Gospel, and do what you need to.

Dear Entomos, I wouldn't make such important decisions based on a knee-jerk response to a bunch of posts.

I strongly suggest you don't "ti'mil minil hab'beh ib'beh" as the proverb goes. Don't make so much out of so little. Rather, plant some strong roots where you already are and grow in your Church, though I would take the Old Country over this place any day.
