not sure if this is the appropriate forum ....but,
I live near Columbus, Ohio. I have visited Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral a few years ago. It was very interesting and they provided me a lady who sat with me and gave me a running commentary during the service.
I have never visited (yet)St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Church or any of the other Orthodox Churches in the Columbus area. Can any of the Ohio part of the Byz. Forum tell me anything about the Eastern-type churches in central Ohio?
Thanks in advance, Ken

The Melkite Catholic Church has a parish in Columbus:
Holy Resurrection Melkite Catholic Church on Glenmawr Ave.
Neil (Irish Melkite) could probably tell you more about it. If it is anything like the Melkite Church near me, it will be very welcoming!

Ken, As Francis said, the Melkite parish in Columbus is Holy Resurrection [ melkite.org] . The pastor there is Father Ignatius Harrington, who is one of our priests whom I can't really say that I know (am blanking right this second as to what he even looks like ) and I don't know much of anything about the parish (know much more about those in Cleveland and Akron). The street address that Francis offered for Holy Resurrection is current (there are 2 other street addresses on-line, one I believe is the rectory and the other - in the Unofficial Directory to which Ray linked - is outdated). Not knowing Father Ignatius, I can't speak with as much confidence as I usually do. However, I think you'll find that Melkite parishes have an earned reputation for being very welcoming places. On the other hand, if you can link up with Sharon to explain what's what, I'd opt for visiting her parish, which I think is St. John Chrysostom. (I have to admit that Ruthenians are also very welcoming folk ). Many years, Neil

If you wanted to visit a UGCC parish, the best approach would be to contact Bishop Moskal's Office and let them know that you would like to visit a parish that isn't too "ethnic" etc.

Thanks Neil!
And thank you to everybody else, I'll make occasional visits to some of the different parishes after the holidays and as the Lord and weather permit.

Alwyn,
Welcome to the forum - although I see that you registered 4 years ago and just haven't posted until now.
The thread you posted to is 6 years old, and I haven't seen a post from Ken/Turpius in a few years. I'm guessing that he long ago got whatever info he needed.
As regards the directory, I'm not quite ready to add the Melkite parishes yet (although there are a few on there already). When I am, I'll message you if there's info regarding Holy Resuurection that is needed.
Many years,
Neil
