Well done Alex ! :p

I've been wondering how you would deal with all those wee questions.

A Master of Diplomacy - just shows what all those politicians have done to you biggrin biggrin biggrin

Dear Anhelyna,

Thanks for the vote of confidence!

I believe that those accusing me of "flirting" are jumping to conclusions "too fast, too soon" as well!

Perhaps they should just try and get out more . . . wink

Dear Administrator/Moderators,

Might I suggest this thread be closed?

I think we're "flirting" with disaster otherwise . . .

And I can think of worse things to be accused of.

Perhaps I'll act in future like an Athonite monk and refuse to even speak to women on this forum.

Alex, just some good old "ribbing" just to lighten everyone up. TheistGal is right, there are far too many topics that become a little too heated. We can all use a little bit of laughter in our lives once in a while! :p

Sorry, Alex, it was me that was flirting - it's a bad habit! You were just being a gentleman and responding with gallantry. No need to close the thread -- I'll try to be a little more circumspect in my posts this week! biggrin

Dear Friends,

I apologise to one and all for my bad humour yesterday.

Normally, I take the flirting charge as a compliment . . . smile

Well, I hope you'll be patient with me today as I'm feeling a little grouchy myself ... just a little too hot & humid around here lately! (I'm talking about the weather, NOT the Forum!! biggrin )

In the previous thread that was closed, Steve said:

Please don't let the pettiness and spiteful nature of those few parishioners turn you away from the whole of Eastern Catholicisim. There are other communities that have welcoming spirituality. They may not be from the Pittsburgh metropolia. They may sing evn more different tones, but the WORDS are the same, the liturgy is the same. Any suggestions out there people?

I suggest the Melkites. They are as close to Orthodox as you get without BECOMING Orthodox.
