Hi. I will be going on vacation sometime in July/August and will be in the Cincinnati area. Currently, I see that there is St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Church, but was wondering if there are any other Byzantine churches or missions in the area. We could always go to St. Athanasius in Indianapolis since my niece lives in Indy, but it would be nice to be closer to our vacation turf.

Thank you for your help.

If you clicked back to the main page you would find the director of parishes.

Mike,

Thank you for your reply. That is where I started, and then went to the unofficial list. I asked in the hopes of some updates that are not listed.

Dear Michael:

Drive the extra miles to Indianapolis and visit your niece. During your stay in Indy, please come and worship with us at St. Athanasius.

If you have further questions please call me at (317) 632-4157. Or, visit our website!

Bless Father Sid,

Thank you for your invitation. So be it! I am looking forward to meeting you.

What time is check in/check out from the Rectory? Is a continental breakfast served before Divine Liturgy? biggrin biggrin (I am sorry, just in a great mood thinking about vacation.)

Also, your Parish website [r-fol.com] is very beautiful! I learned a lot about the Pascha Basket from it.

Michael:

I'm pleased to tell you that the continental breakfast is served after Divine Liturgy! Believe me, its worth coming to Indy just for the breakfast!

Please let us know your arrival time. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Wow, am you really have breakfast after Liturgy. Now that would be sweet. We stopped having coffee hour for the summer and it's kind of a bummer not getting to really talk to folks after liturgy.

Massasauga,
We faithfully have coffee and snacks after the Divine Liturgy every Sunday (except when the Fellowship Hall is rented).

What a shame to loss such an important part of the whole process! Can I donate a coffee maker to the parish? smile

Father Sid, thank you again.

In Christ,

Michael
