From the Eastern Orthodox side, I was told by a marcher that two bishops were there to witness:

Metropolitan Herman of Washington, Primate of the Orthodox Church in America. (He's a perennial).

Bishop Nikon of Boston, Albanian Orthodox Archdiocese in America (also in the OCA and currently my own diocesan bishop).

In Christ,
Andrew

I have a good photo of the start of the March in DC. Would the Admin like a copy?

Dear Annie,

I was a leader in the pro-life movement for 5 years. I left because I needed to attend to my 5 children.

Now I think that women should be the generals in the movement, Men should be the support troops being baby sitters and freeing their spouses to work Right to Life.

Women (radicals) got us into this holocaust and I think women are best equiped to win protection for the unborn.

I really hate it when the news media interviews a man at a pro-life event. It sends a distorted message at who abortion effects most directly, women and the unborn child.

Your thoughts please?

Paul

I don't mind when men are interviewed at all. This issue affects all people, not just women. Last year, I met some firemen from NYC who were 9/11 responders and who came to the March. I think those guys can speak far better to the sanctity of human life than I can. They risk their lives daily just so others might live - not just the possibility of laying down your life for your friends, but for some stranger you've never even met. And, really, that's the message: human life is THAT sacred.
