The problem is that it stays on the post for a while and then disappears later to be replaced by a little red x! If you link to my little website on yahoo where I posted the pictures, it can be found in the Town Hall section, you will see the notorious picture! biggrin

I saw the notorious picture before the little red x took it over! Maybe the little red x was planted by incognitus because you stole his identity! wink

If anybody in the NYC area is interested Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Whitesone (Northern Queens) is having their Greek Festival this weekend (that is June 8,9,10,11). Unfortunately the weather here is disgusting frown . I hope it gets better this weekend.

How did I find this post so late? Been to Greek Fests in Houston and San Antonio, Texas; Tulsa, OK; and at Holy Transfiguration GO Church in Anchorage, AK. Think Anchorage was the very best!! Lemme see, I'll have a gyro (YUM), souvlaki (double YUM), dolmades (triple YUM), tyropita and spanakopita (quadruple YUM) and I'll wash it all down with a glass...no, make that a bottle...of retsina. Yes, I do love that wine with tree resin in it!!

Golly, am I full, better go dance it off. Hey Alice, can you teach me how to dance in Greek?? Love that Greek music, too!!

God bless you all!!

NEMO

P.S. - Don't let me sleep through the rest of Greek Fest, please!!

Went to Greek Fest at a local parish yesterday. picked up a beautiful icon of St. Nektarios and the Jordanville prayerbook. cool

We had some awesome food too ...

The custard galaktoboureko, fried dough loukoumades and baklava were spectacular. the Greek Chicken was great and the rixe pilaf was tasty. :p

Of course, the Greek hospitality was wonderful.
