Coming home tonight after work I opened my mail, usually bills.
Someone from my Parish troubled themselves to send me last Sunday's Parish Bulletin, since I didn't attend the Liturgy.
I called Father Michael to thank him but he alluded that the Cantor, Mr Kmeck, could have been the sender.
Father Michael has been recently been appointed Pastor of 2 churches, Bayonne and Jersey City, since Father Bob Skurla reired at age 78.
This is just a note to express a moment of love and happyness.
Jim

Very thoughtful indeed!
At our parish, every shut-in receives the parish bulletin every week.

God be praised for mentioning good news. It can be so easy to overlook the many kindnesses that God and man give us each and every day. Thank you for reminding me of that. -- John

Yes, that was my dad, George Kmeck. He would sit at the kitchen table and send bulletins to all parishioners. He is missed by many.

We often forget it s the sort of simple things that sometimes take a lot of dedication, that is a gift od great love. May his memory be eternal!

"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."
