Dear Alice,
Actually my wife's family are Slavic Macedonian's from a village near Florina in what is now Northern Greece. confused
My wife and all her family were baptized GO. None of them (except my in-laws) speak or understand Greek. They all speak Macedonian.
We baptized our daughter in the GOC, and ironically, Ava Frances, (my daughter) was baptized in the same font as my wife was over 34 years ago. ( I think that is beautiful )

I can't wait for the lamb this year. My father in law was asking me about putting the whole lamb on a spit in the backyard.
I'm the only one (besides themselves) in their family that eats lamb.
My father in law often jokes about me being more Greek/Macedonian than all his 3 daughters. biggrin

Christos Anesti !!!

Dear Brad,

And I like lamb so much that people comment on my sheepish grin whenever I smell the barbecue . . .

biggrin Alex,
I don't think I ever mentioned how much I enjoy your humour. You seem to have a knack of finding homour in just about everything.

Baaa Bye !

How fresh does everyone want their lamb??? I could probably arrange that... biggrin

With all due, great, and loving respect to the Greeks, after one has had lamb prepared the Ethiopian way...it's tough to beat. smile
