I am curious, has anyone here purchased the 10-volume reprint of the Ruthenian Recension from EC Publications? Does anyone have any thoughts about its relative worth? If anyone knows of any studies or reviews, even of the originals from which they are reprinted, that would be helpful as well. $600 is a rather sizable investment.

The set is 12 books for $600:

ECP Ruthenian Recension Reprint [ssl.webvalence.com] .

The set I saw was very good quality binding, paper and reproduction. One should keep in mind that the original printing from Rome was sometimes not the greatest. You can preview some of the contents at screen resolution at link [patronagechurch.com]. The Chasoslov at that site (not necessarily the others, some of which are different lower quality scans) is a lower/screen-resolution version of the scans used for the ECP printing.

The relative worth of the Recension is something that it seems needs to be determined; see Full Celebration of the Divine Liturgy of the Ruthenian Recension and Status of Ruthenian Recension for example.
