Bishop calls Bosnia-Herzegovina an 'artificial state'

CWN - A Catholic bishop has referred to Bosnia-Herzegovina as an “artificial state” and “a country to flee from if possible,” the ANSA news service reports.

Bishop Pero Sudar, an auxiliary of the Sarajevo archdiocese, reminded a conference of Catholic journalists that Bosnia-Herzegovina was created as the result of a peace agreement ending a bloody civil war in the region. “The peace that was imposed to satisfy certain interests has nothing to do with the people’s interests,” he said.
