CWN - The grand mufti of Lebanon has met with the patriarch of the Maronite Catholic Church, Cardinal Béchara Boutros Raï, and presented him with a proposal for a Muslim-Christian pact “for preserving coexistence in Lebanon,” according to the Beirut-based Daily Star.

Mohammed Rashid Qabbani said that he agreed with the prelate that “some are working on destroying ties between Muslims and Christians in the Middle East.”
