CWN - The government of France has offered asylum to Iraqi Christians who have been driven from their homes by Islamic militants.

French foreign minister Laurent Fabius said that his government is "outraged" by the news that Christians in Mosul were ordered to deny their faith or leave the city, on pain of death. "We are ready, if they wish, to facilitate their asylum on our soil," he said.
