CWN - Hundreds of Mosul’s Christians who have fled to the city of Dohuk held a protest to plead for humanitarian assistance from the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan regional government, the ANSA news agency reported.
Farid Yacub, spokesman for the Assyrian Democratic Movement, also called upon the Iraqi government to pass a law upholding Christians’ rights to the property they abandoned when the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant forced them to leave Mosul.
