CWN - The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is supervising the looting of homes in historic Christian villages and is detaining Yazidi women under horrific conditions, according to an update on the situation in northern Iraq published by the Assyrian International News Agency.
“25 Christians who were being held … in the Sayeda Zaineb mosque in Sinjar were transferred two days ago to nearby homes west of the mosque,” the report added. Islamic State “gunmen forced two other Christians to convert to Islam, and they are being held in a house separate from the other detained Christians.”
