CWN - Chaldean Catholic Patriarch Louis Sako has challenged Iraqi Muslim leaders to "openly express your rejection and your condemnation of violent religious extremism."
The Iraq prelate, in a message of greeting to Muslims celebrating the feast of Eid al-Adha, said that Christians in Iraq "would like to stay with you as partners and work together as a team for the progress of our country." He said that Christians "believe that all Muslims do not approve the actions" of the Islamic State.
