Government to provide housing for some of Iraq’s persecuted Christians

CWN - Iraq’s deputy prime minister has announced the nation’s government will provide 25,000 prefabricated homes for Christians who fled their towns in the wake of the advance of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, according to a Fides news agency report.

Some 23,000 homes will be sent to Dohuk, and an additional 2,000 will be sent to Ankawa. Both cities are located in the semiautonomous region of Kurdistan.
