CWN - Pope Francis met with former Russian Prime Minister Sergei Stepashin on February 26, the Interfax news agency reported.
“We discussed the support of Christians in the Middle East, the need for equal activity of all confessions in Ukraine over the situation there, and the support of Christian family values,” said Stepashin, who now serves as chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Russia, the parliament’s financial-control organization.
