CWN - A grenade was thrown at the only Catholic parish in Gaza and exploded in the church’s courtyard.

The church was not damaged in the attack, and there were no injuries, according to multiple media reports.

In addition, the Associated Press reported that an “abusive slogan” was written on the wall of the church.

The Gaza Strip has been under Palestinian governance since 1994, and since 2007, it has been governed by Hamas.
