CWN - Catholic Relief Services, the US bishops’ international relief and development agency, has published a report on the current humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The report was posted on the website of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

The report found “electricity outages up to 21 hours per day,” “severely limited access to sufficient clean water,” and “a critical strain on access to food.”

According to the report, 1,948 Palestinians and 66 Israelis have been killed in the conflict, including 1,402 Palestinian civilians and two Israeli civilians. In addition, “490,000 people in Gaza were displaced internally, most taking shelter in schools, in other informal shelters or with host families.”
