CWN - The head of Egypt’s largest Christian body said that Western policies have fostered Islamic extremism in the Middle East.
Coptic Orthodox Patriarch Tawadros II made his comments as he concluded a visit to Russia, according to a report from the Fides news agency.
He said that “some thought that America could protect us” when extremists burned dozens of Egyptian churches in 2013, but “no one did anything.”
